Due to Clyde’s childhood love of nature living in rural Iowa, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He then completed a Master of Forestry degree from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies in 1973. Besides selling log home kits, Clyde has served as an expert witness in log home litigations and has also completed log home inspections for clients buying already-built log homes. Gail is a retired teacher and has degrees in social work, elementary education, and has an MA in Sociology.
